Fresh off from his short lived romance with Fifth Harmony member Camila Cabello, Austin Mahone is reportedly collaborating with another Latina singer for a new single that fans will surely love.
According to a report from Latina, Mahone recently revealed that he is working with "Shower" singer Becky G on a new track.
"We did a song together for her album," the 18-year-old singer said, as quoted by the news outlet. "It came out really nice and cool. I've been friends with her for awhile and we've been talking about doing a song together, so we finally made it happen."
As if to further prove their closeness, earlier this month, Mahone tweeted about his bond with Becky G and how much he loved working with her. He posted: "@iambeckyg is my favorite person in the whole world."
Becky G also recently teamed up with 5H and the Truth for a new anti-smoking campaign called "Finish It."
According to a separate report from Latina, the artists partnered up with dating app Tinder to tell the public that dating someone who smokes is a turnoff, and that smoking isn't something that young people should think is cool. The campaign is also accompanied with a catchy song titled "Left Swipe Dat." You can check out the music video here.
Austin & Camilla's Breakup
In November, Cabello confirmed to the press that she and Mahone have parted ways after just a few short months of dating, without revealing the reason behind the split, Us Weekly reported.
Despite the breakup, Mahone still makes sure that he got Cabello's back. A report from Hollywood Life said that Cabello only revealed their relationship in an effort to sell more albums. Apparently, Mahone accused her of it and "she was hurt by that and they both decided to break up." According to an insider, she wanted to tell people about their dating status, and Mahone wanted to keep it low key.
However, Mahone quickly shut down Hollywood Life's claims, saying that it was the "most ridiculous reason" he's ever heard, E! News reported.
No V-Day Date for Austin?
Now that Valentine's Day is coming up, fans are curious about what their favorite celebrities' romantic plans are. E! News caught up with Mahone to make him dish about the special day, or if he's planning to go on a date with someone. But sadly, the young singer revealed that there is nothing in store for him on Feb. 14.
"Nothing, like every year," he said at Universal Music Group's Grammy after party, as quoted by E! News. "I got nothing."
Mahone also joked that he would probably go see "Fifty Shades of Grey" in theaters by his lonesome, the news outlet noted.
