Hollywood Week continues to bring out the best in the "Idol" hopefuls in the latest episode of "American Idol," according to Hollywood Life.
The first part of the episode showed contestant Alexis Granville receiving treatment after suffering from a panic attack at the conclusion of last week's episode.
After recovering from her panic attack, Granville was able to take the stage together with her groupmates Sal Ventinetti, Kelly Kime and Jackie "Jax" Cole.
At the end of the performance, only Cole and Granville were able to advance further into the competition, according to TV Line.
Another group of contestants making their way to the next round included Jake Black, Riley Bria, Emily Brooke and Keri Lynn Roche. The quartet sang "With a Little Help from My Friends," originally sung by The Beatles, according to NJ.com.
More eliminated 'Idol' hopefuls
A number of contestants have made their final bow on the "Idol" stage, according to Hollywood Life.
Cody Fry, Piper Jones, Rayvon Owen and Kelleyann Rogers sang a ballad version of "Since You've Been Gone" from "American Idol" season one winner Kelly Clarkson. All of them will advance to the next round.
Vital Signs, featuring Adanna Duru, Cindy Maslov, Denise Natoli and Camille Peruto also had a successful showing, but only three members managed to advance, the report continued.
Maslov was eliminated after the group's performance of "I Want You Back" from Michael Jackson.
Provocatively named group, Ladies Keep Your Clothes On, are through to the next round. The group composed of Trevor Douglas, Qaasim Middleton, Daniel Seavey and Savion Wright sang "Story of My Life" from One Direction.
The quartet of Lovey James, Jess Lamb, Karla and Kory Wheeler took the stage to sing a doo-wop version of the hit song "All About That Bass" from Meghan Trainor. After their performance, only half of the group advanced with Lamb and Karla Wheeler being sent home.
The group Soul Connection also had a mostly successful showing. After singing a cover of "Grenade" from Bruno Mars, Sarina-Joi Crowe, Erika David and Hetherle Spries all managed to advance while member Heather Lee was sent home.
The night's final group, featuring Heather Berthiaume, Joey Cook and Naomi Tatsuoka also managed to advance past the show's latest episode.
The group appeared to have a problem after Cook forgot a lyric in the middle of the performance, but her ability to think on her feet salvaged her performance.
