Prior to the start of the game between the Golden State Warriors and the Philadelphia 76ers, Warriors point guard Steph Curry met Little League World Series star Mo'ne Davis who plays for the Taney Dragons. Curry did not only personally meet Davis but he also asked for her autograph.

Davis reportedly looks up to the Warriors player as she claimed that she took her shooting style from Curry and other WNBA stars like Maya Moore and Skylar Diggins, NBC on Yahoo Sports said.

It must have been a really thrilling moment for Davis having Curry ask her for a signature. An opportunity like that does not easily come along especially to a 14-year-old.

NBC on Yahoo Sports added that Curry and Davis will be present in the NBA All-Star Game activities in New York over the weekend. The young player will participate in the Celebrity All-Star Game while Curry will compete in the three-point contest.

It was not until early last year that the sporting world new about the Little League player who shocked the whole world with her talent at a very young age.

An earlier Huffington Post report explained that Davis was the first female to win a Little League World Series game.

Her fame easily shoot up as she appeared in the cover of Sports Illustrated and was named the Sports Kid of the Year. That does not end there. Davis also met President Obama at the White house, appeared in a car commercial and presented Pharrell Williams with Soul Train's Song of the Year award, Huffington Post added.

"A lot of adults around me help out, taught me to be respectful, to be calm during everything and not let anything get to you," Davis said in the same report. She was also named The Associated Press 2014 Female Athlete of the Year.

Her fame made a lot of things happen for her and the world focused on what this young and talented girl can do.

Huffington Post said she also appeared at the Tonight's Show with Jimmy Fallon, signed a book deal and threw a pitch at the fourth game of the World series.

"It's been really fun, got to do a lot of things, meet a lot of cool people. My favorite thing to do was playing in Williamsport or going to the White House. (The Obamas) just seemed like a regular couple, no different from anyone else," she added, as quoted by the Huffington Post.

Davis, however, expressed interest on basketball after her little league stint and said that she will concentrate on her new sport.

"It's making me a lot better, helping me make decisions. In middle school, I can get away with small things. The girls now are a lot taller so I'm working on my jump shot and ball handling a lot," David was quoted by Huffington Post as saying.
