Emilio Estefan has denied allegations saying that he stole a concept for a TV show.

According to Fox News Latino, disabled veteran John Jacobs Jr. filed a lawsuit against the music producer for allegedly stealing a concept idea. Estefan's lawyer claimed that the allegations "are another attempt to lodge claims 'without any merit whatsoever.'"

TMZ first released the story, saying that the disabled veteran was so stressed over the ordeal that he "wound up losing his bowel movement in front of people." The lawsuit, which centers on a singing competition/fitness boot camp, claims that Jacobs pitched an idea to Estefan Enterprises back in 1999.

Jacobs' concept idea reportedly ended up being used for a reality show called "New Voices of America" in 2005 without him being compensated or consulted for the project, TMZ noted. Jacobs then became distressed when Estefan allegedly cancelled a meeting to discuss the TV show's concept.

Estefan's lawyer, Karen L. Stetson, said in a statement sent to Fox News Latino that this was the third time Jacobs raised the complaint in court, including the U.S. Supreme Court. The claims have been rejected each time, she added.

She also explained: "Mr. Jacobs appears to be confused and unwell, and unable to accept the prior courts' rulings. In actuality, it was the network that presented the television show's concept to my client, not Mr. Jacobs. In fact, Mr. Estefan has never even met Mr. Jacobs. We are more than confident that this new attempt by Mr. Jacobs will fail was well," Fox News Latino quoted.

Jacobs is suing Estefan Enterprises for $15 million citing emotional stress, TMZ reported.
