It is not every day kids get to meet their favorite superheroes, but for the children at Christopher's Haven Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, it was a super-special day when not one, but two superheroes came by to make the day a little bit brighter for them and their families.

Huffington Post reported that Chris Pratt and Chris Evans came to visit Christopher's Haven Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts after Pratt lost a bet at the Super Bowl. Pratt, who is a Seattle Seahawks fan, and Evans, a New England Patriots fan, bet against each other and wagered trips to either Seattle Children's Hospital or Christopher's Haven, at the choice of the winner. The Patriots won the Vince Lombardy trophy, so Pratt joined Evans in visiting the families at Christopher's Haven. According to Access Hollywood, the hospital provides housing for families of kids with pediatric cancer.

The hospital was grateful for Pratt and Evans's presence in the hospital - Pratt was even in his full-on Star-Lord costume - and they made sure the real-life superheroes know how happy they were with their visit, posting a message and a photo on the organization's official Facebook page, saying, "Chris Pratt and Chris Evans visited with the families here at Christopher's Haven in honor of the ‪#‎TwitterBowl bet. The visit was complete with New England Patriots jerseys for Chris Pratt and lots of toys for the kids. Thank you to Newbury Comics and Disney for sending toys and gift bags for the kids! This was a day they will never forget."

Pratt also posted photos with some of the patients on his own social media account, saying, "Made good on that ‪#‎twitterbowl bet! Starlord is [p]roud to be in Boston today at Christopher's Haven with Chris Evans and some awesome families. ‪#‎12thMan."

Pratt and Evans, however, did not stop at Christopher's Haven for their goodwill visit. Evans said on Twitter that they will still be visiting Seattle Children's Hospital. He tweeted, "GREAT day at @chris_haven! You're my hero, @prattprattpratt. And look out @seattlechildren, you're next!!"

Patients from both hospitals are lucky enough to have been visited by their heroes during their down-time, but as for the rest of us, we will just have to be content of seeing them on the big screen: Chris Evans will star on "The Avengers: Age of Ultron" which will be out in May, and Chris Pratt on "Jurassic World" which will be in cinemas in June.
