AMC has claimed that "The Walking Dead" season 5 is the "best season ever," and they have so much confidence in it, that that's exactly what they titled the teaser video.

Comicbook.com noted that last season ended with losing the possibility of finding a cure in Washington DC, and Rick Grimes and his merry band of survivors are stranded on the road, holding on to the hope of day to day survival, if nothing else.

The midseason premiere will air on Sunday, February 8, and according to executive producer Robert Kirkman, episode 9 will be at the same time, a fan-favorite and fan-hated episode. Kirkman told Entertainment Weekly, "That is going to be a fan-favorite episode in a lot of ways, and it's going to be a fan-hated episode in a lot of ways because it is somewhat brutal. But there's a lot of magic in that as well."

But what's in store for the rest of season 5? Here are more spoilers, as noted by Cleveland News:

1) There won't be much crying over Beth's death, as most of it will take place during her funeral, which will be shown in a quick montage.

2) The gang will be leaving Atlanta and moving on to Noah's home in Virginia, a noted turning point that fans have been anticipating for.

3) The group will finally reach the most prominent setting in the book, called the Alexandria Safe-Zone, which is a safe area fortified with a fence, and is considered to be the safe haven for Rick and the gang.

4) Comic book fans will finally meet Aaron (played by Ross Marquand), a recruiter from the Safe-Zone and the show's first openly gay character.

5) "American Horror Story" alum Alexandra Brecknridge will sooner or later show up in a yet-to-be-announced role in TWD, and she (along with a few new characters) will encounter Rick and company at some point.

6) Negan, the longest-lasting villain in the comic book will appear once the gang gets to the safe zone. He will be responsible for a bunch of major deaths, which means that you should get your tissues handy for when you have to cry over the death of your favorite character.

7) Noah and Tyreese will be leaving the show, as Chad Coleman, who plays Tyreese, and Tyler James Williams, who plays Noah have accepted roles in other shows, and considering filming schedules, it is highly unlikely that they will be splitting their time between two jobs.
