Nike has finally unveiled its collection for the upcoming 2015 NBA All-Star Game, which its biggest stars would sport when they battle it out at the annual event in Madison Square Garden on Feb. 13.

The collection has become an excitement-filled annual tradition, said Pro Basketball Talk. According to Nike News, this year the pairs will be taken after the different landmarks in New York and the energy that runs through the host city.

The special shoes are under the brands being endorsed by LeBron James (LeBron 12), Kyrie Irving (Kyrie 1), Kevin Durant (KD 7) and Kobe Bryant (Kobe X), who unfortunately will not participate due to injury, said the Bleacher Report.

KD 7 is inspired by the Brooklyn Bridge, for suspension and stability akin to the FlyWire and Zoom cushioning technologies of the model. Kyrie 1 is inspired by the City Hall Station for the extremely intricate detailing, Nike News said.

LeBron 12 is compared to the Flatiron Building at Fifth Avenue and Broadway, due to its strength and flexibility, while Kobe Bryant's pair is inspired by the Unisphere of the 1964 World Fair, for its symbolism of new technology the report continued.

All the designs are brought together by their modern sense of color and graphics, noted Nike News.

CBS Sports released a five-star aesthetic review of the four pieces in the collection.

LeBron 12: Four stars

It's resemblance to its inspiration is unmistakable, said the report. Nike News noted that it has the same bold aesthetic.

It matches blue, bright green and black detailing with the white base. The heel is vinyl and the Swoosh made from hologram material. The heel is transluscent. There are 11 stars at the tongue, keeping tabs of his All-Star appearances.

Kyrie 1: Five Stars

The criss-crossing lines and dark-blue to purple detailing are noteworthy, the CBS Sports report added. Together with the hologram Swoosh and the sparkling tongue, it's like a million-dollar looking pair.

There is strong three-dimensional detailing on the heel, plus speckles on the midsole. According to Nike News, the shoe borrows from the ghostliness and mysteriousness of the station.

KD7: Three Stars

The hot-pink detailing across the tongue and at the heel balance the plainness of the gray areas, but the pair is not exactly easy to wear, said the report.

The band goes from purple to pink and is a nice touch, it added, but the detailing needs a little more explanation from Nike.

KOBE X: No Stars

That was given mainly because he will not make it to the event, but according to Nike News, it brings together the brand's best inventions.

The colorway went for green, orange and yellow at the sole but black at the base and then hologram at the tongue and Swoosh. It has details that do not stick out at first glance both at the heel and the toe area.
