Who doesn't love leaks?

A plethora of interesting details surrounding the next expansion of "Destiny" has surfaced online. Apparently, Reddit user megamanexe4 has stumbled upon "contents" of "House of Wolves," the upcoming DLC yet to be given a release date.

The user, claiming to be "not good at English," has nevertheless managed to deliver juicy information.

Translated by ch4meleon, the post announced, "I have discovered a method to access a small portion of 'House of Wolves.' Thus far, the portion that I've been able to access has been limited to weapons and armor sold by vendors as well as one small portion of the story."

It remains unclear how megamanexe4 was able to come up with a specific launch date. Upon "analysis," the user claimed that "House of Wolves" is set to be unlocked on May 19.

The post went on to reveal that Bungie, developer of "Destiny," will release patch 1.0.9 for consoles over the "next four weeks." At present, the game runs across the PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360, IGN wrote.

As told by Polygon, megamanexe4 was able to preview new guns, rocket launchers and dozens of Crucible and Vanguard armor for the Hunter, Warlock and Titan classes. In addition, the report noted that he was able to post details on what could be a level 32 weekly Nightfall strike and a new faction.

With regards to the DLC's release, megamanexe4 informed that "a small chunk of story" is set to arrive in March, while much of the data will follow in May.

The user also took note of a rumored "major update" eyed for release in September. Translator ch4meleon is convinced that megamanexe4 referred to the "Comet" expansion.

While these information are just as seductive, Bungie has confirmed that they're all subject to change. Community manager David Dague clarified, "Aside from giving it a name, Bungie has yet to reveal the 'House of Wolves.' That means that anything you know about it can change."

He also expressed that the surfacing items are placeholders, which again, may not come to materialize at all. Accordingly, they're meant to save room for actual future updates.

Dague finished, "Leaks are fun. I totally get it. Please discuss to your heart's content. All we ask is that you leave your mind open to the evolutions that are inevitable. What you see here are very old ghosts from our pre-launch database. These are not necessarily the wolves you're looking for."

That said, players can certainly look forward to an upgraded DLC. If the current leak is exciting enough, how much more can the real thing be?
