Weeks after rumors of their breakup surfaced, rapper Iggy Azalea denied that she and Los Angeles Lakers player Nick Young have already parted ways.

In her Twitter account, Azalea said that they are still a couple and that they are happy together.

"For the record: I love my boyfriend, haven't broken up with him and don't plan on splitting anytime soon. Sorry, I'm happy," she posted on her account.

Complex said in a report that for the past weeks, there have been rumors of the couple's breakup, sparked by the sighting of Swaggy P riding in a car that Iggy gifted him with another woman last month.

In a similar report, Enstarz noted that Iggy's tweet also came after the mystery brunette was seen having a good time with her boyfriend. It added that Young immediately denied the rumors and slammed people for creating an issue.

"Yall wish I would mess up a good thing .. Now I gotta sleep on the couch with one eye open because ppl wanna put out crazy stuff.. Dnt believe the hype," Young was quoted by Enstarz as saying.

To explain the incident, an OK! Magazine source cited by Celeb Dirty Laundry, claimed that "Rapper Iggy Izalea is furious since her L.A. Lakers boyfriend was snapped on January 9th with his arm around a mystery brunette as they headed in to a private home after partying all night at Hollywood hotspot Hooray Henry's" and that she "threw him out when she saw the pics. The fact that he let some other girl drive that car was salt on the wound. She's lost all trust for him."

Despite countless reports linking him to the mystery girl, Young seems lucky enough that her girl chose to stick with him. The couple has been together since September 2013 after they met through the social networking activity called "Woman Crush Wednesday" where the Lakers baller said that she had a crush on the rapper. According to Sports Illustrated, their first date was at Target where they bought socks and Ring Pops.

Young told Sports Illustrated in an earlier interview that he believes Azalea wants to marry him and that she is already expecting a wedding ring. "But I'm not there yet," he said, adding that he is cautious with his decisions especially that he is just fresh in his career in the NBA.

The couple certainly made known to the public that they have sorted their differences and that they would not let any rumors of incidents like this affect their relationship.
