Very few ex couples can manage to stay friends so it is understandable when present relationships are wary of friendly exes, as is the case of Nikki Reed feeling insecure of Nina Dobrev - after all, Nina is also a talented actress, and she's still working with her ex, and Nikki's current fiancée, Ian Somerhalder.
According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, Nikki has been insecure about the amount of time that Nina and Ian have been spending together, and with their series, "The Vampire Diaries" renewed for another season, she has even more reasons to get jealous, considering that the pair is reported to be very touchy on set. They also play each other's romantic interest in the series, and their chemistry so far has not yet burned out - and Nikki is left to watch from the sidelines, if she even gets to watch at all.
Season 7 is still a long way off, however, and right now, the romance between Nina's and Ian's characters (Elena Gilbert and Damon Salvatore) is rekindling, with a hot kiss between them in the last episode, well, it's no wonder why Nikki won't be comfortable with Nina and Ian being around each other all the time.
A separate report from the Hollywood Life claimed that Nikki "refuses" to get jealous of Nina and Ian's relationship, though, saying, "She refuses to be jealous and until Ian does something wrong, which she doesn't expect to ever happen, she will not distrust Ian at all."
Speaking of TVD, though, it looks like Kat Graham's Bonnie Bennett will be the central character for episode 13, "The Day I Tried to Live." According to Christian Today, Elena will be doing everything she can to bring her best friend back to the present in time for her birthday, asking her brother, Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) and Damon for help to keep Bonnie from being stuck in 1994.
Paul Wesley's Stefan Salvatore and Candice Accola's Caroline Forbes will also have their friendship grow stronger as Stefan looks after Caroline in her time of need.
But with all the commotion in Mystic Falls, the biggest decision is still going to be Jeremy's - will he be leaving the supernatural town for good? Spoiler Alert: He will, as The Hollywood Reporter confirmed in January that Steven R. McQueen will be leaving the show for good. TVD executive producer Julie Plec told the website, "His final episode will be episode 614, and the episode leading up [to it] will be him grappling with whether or not it's time for him to say goodbye to Mystic Falls."
Seems like there's a lot of drama on and off set! What do you think of the Nikki-Ian-Nina love triangle? What about Jeremy's leaving Mystic Falls?
