Despite breaking up more than a year ago, Ricky Martin and Carlos González Abella still continue to fuel up rumors implying that they are back together. Just recently, the Puerto Rican singer posted a photo on his Instagram account showing him and his ex-boyfriend with the caption: "#AmistadPoderosa. #friendship #buddy #transformation @ciga23"

The ex-couple started dating back in 2010, the same year Martin announced that he's homosexual, Daily Mail reported.

"'I am proud to say that I am a fortunate homosexual man. I am very blessed to be who I am," the singer said, as quoted by Daily Mail.

Martin has two sons, named Matteo and Valentino, who were born via a surrogate mom in 2008. González, on the other hand, is an economist and nephew of former Puerto Rican governor Pedro Rosselló González, according to report from Latin Times.

"I have experienced wonderful things with my partner. Complexity, understanding, and, at the same time, freedom, not being afraid that your partner is judging you. That is what I have found with Carlos," Martin revealed, referring to his relationship with González, E! Online quoted.

He added, "We're going on four years together...When I started the process with my sons, Carlos wasn't in my life. He said: 'I'm looking for a boyfriend, not a father with a family.' And I said to him: 'You've found a grown-up, full-fledged man.' I created a family structure and if he didn't understand he'd ask me questions and we were on our way. He has a really strong personality. He's nobody's puppet."

Before the split last year, the singer hinted at the breakup in a series of tweets. He posted: "Changes oh changes" and "Just because the lesson comes from someone you love, does not mean it is correct."

Latin Times noted that even though the snapshot of him and González sparked rumors and speculations, Martin and his representatives didn't make any further comments.

Ricky Martin's New Song Titled 'Disparo Al Corazón'

Ricky Martin has just released a new track titled "Disparo Al Corazón" or "Shot Through the Heart" in English.

The song, which the singer describes as spoken in metaphors with "absolute openness, sensitivity, and honesty," is the second single from his album "A Quien Quiera Escuchar" ("For Whoever Wants to Listen"), according to a separate report from Latin Times. Martin collaborated with Pedro Capó, Yoel Henríquez, and Rafael Esparza Ruíz to write and compose the track.

Entertainment Focus reported that Martin's upcoming tenth studio album will officially come out in markets on February 10, 2015 through Sony Latin in the U.S. The album's carrier single and the first one to be released is titled "Adios," which, according to Straits Times, "brings a Latin beat to a tune inspired by 1930s burlesque."
