After a verbal argument on Sunday evening at their Miami home, sports agent Drew Rosenhaus filed for divorce to end his more than a year marriage with real estate agent Lisa Thomson.
A TMZ source claimed that the sports agent got upset when Thomson posed for photos while she was partying with poker player Dan Brandon Bilzerian and that it made her look "like a Spring Break party chick."
However, it was also noted that Rosenhaus didn't care about the images nor did he care about Thomson's relationship with the poker player.
Bilzerian's name, according to New York Daily News, made news when Alex Rodriguez was investigated by the MLB for his alleged involvement in illegal poker games at the residence of a Beverly Hills record producer. It was reported that there was a fight in the said home and that drugs were also involved.
Bilzerian has come out but refused to comment on the issue. "I don't really want to comment about it, honestly. I guess they have pictures of her hanging out with me," Bilzerian was quoted by New York Daily News as saying.
The verbal fight
While confronting his wife on Sunday it seems things got out of hand. According to TMZ, Thomson contacted the police to report that Drew and his brother allegedly attacked her verbally.
The police was able to control the situation since no arrests were made, TMZ noted, but Rosenhaus really wanted Thompson to leave and "gave Lisa five trash bags and told her to get her stuff out of the house." It was reported that Thomson indeed packed some of her things and left their home to avoid further discussions with Rosenhaus or his brother.
"Rosenhaus also says Lisa signed a prenup before the marriage -- and wants the judge to honor it. The terms of the prenup were not disclosed in the divorce docs," TMZ added in its report.
New York Daily News said the agent, known for bailing out clients who made big headlines, denied that there was physical abuse involved in the incident and the police also noted that there were no "visible signs of injuries."
Rosenhaus and Thomson were married in 2013 and they do not have a child together. The couple have also refused to further comment on the issue at hand, according to multiple reports.
With this recent turn of events, the public will watch out if the divorce filed by the sports agent will really prosper or if the couple will still be able to work out their differences.
