Michelle Rodriguez gets real about her love life and revealed that long-term romantic relationships are not for her.

"I'm a lone wolf," Rodriguez revealed in a chat with actress Milla Jovovich in Interview magazine's February issue. "I run by myself on most things. I've got lots of really great friends, but the thought of being in a long-lasting relationship? Psh, I couldn't last more than six months with somebody."

Rodriguez was previously romantically linked to actor Zac Efron and supermodel Cara Delevingne, Fox News Latino reports. The actress, who identifies herself as bisexual, said that she's not planning to bear children because she wouldn't want to sacrifice the last remaining years that she has of "being youthful" in show business in order to have kids. But if it comes to that, she would opt for a surrogate.

"I do what I want, when I want, how I want, and because of that, it has taken me so long to grow into an adult human being," the 36-year-old actress told Interview magazine. "I just want that unconditional love, the kind you get with a family member. You might get lucky enough to find that unconditional love in a friend or a lover, but it's very rare."

She added: "So if I ever have a kid, it'd be so that I could look in those eyes and know that this child is a piece of me and will love me the same way I love, but I think that's selfish of me."

The "Fast and Furious" actress also talked about the pressure of being a Latina actress in Hollywood. According to Rodriguez, the stereotype commonly labeled on her race puts "a weight" on her, Interview magazine notes.

"People don't like talking about it, but if you're Spanish, you feel a weight," she said, as quoted by Interview magazine. "I don't have much history-I've got Rosie Perez, Jennifer Lopez, Rita Moreno. That's the history of Latin women in Hollywood, really. I'm like, 'Well, damn, that means that I have to carry a flag.' I don't have the freedom to just do anything, because I have the political weight of having this last name and my heritage."

"It's not like I've transcended, Will Smith-style. It takes a lot to pull that off, to cross over, and transcend," Rodriguez added, as reported by the news outlet.

Rodriguez was best known for her roles in "Avatar," "Resident Evil: Retribution" alongside Jovovich, and in the hit TV series "Lost." "Furious 7," her upcoming movie from the "Fast and Furious" franchise, is slated for release in theaters on April 3, 2015, Daily Mail reports.
