While Android 5.0 Lollipop continues to roll OTA among target devices, custom ROM updates have also brought their way to availability. This time, we've spotted Android 5.0.2 upgrades for the Samsung Galaxy S5, Galaxy S3, Nexus 5 and OnePlus One.

Coming from the CyanogenMod CM12 series, the Nightly-version update for the Galaxy S5 is ready to download, International Business Times reported. Bugs and stability issues are expected. Developers have already completed 85% of the stable build, set to release soon.

It must be noted that AT&T and Verizon Galaxy S5 models are not advised to install the nightly 5.0.2 update.

There is also a new Cyanogen 5.0.2 custom ROM for the LG Nexus 5, Team Android noted. As told by the source, Google has already released an official update for the handset. Nevertheless, the CM12 Nightly was said to be based on Android 5.0.2, instead of the older Lollipop build provided by Google.

Should installation errors, boot loops and other bugs occur, the outlet advised users to reinstall stock firmware or another custom ROM that's stable.

OnePlus One joins the list of devices with an existing 5.0.2 custom update. The Latin Times reported that its CM12 5.0.2 Nightly build fixes Wi-Fi errors, random crashes and battery problems.

According to the report, the OnePlus One ROM brings faster and smoother performance, on-screen capacitive options, vibrator customization, notification light options, CM tweaked button options, blacklist options, color and sunlight enhancements and privacy guard, among others.

Another Samsung smartphone had its turn before the rest -- the Galaxy S3. Samsung has removed the device from the list set to receive upgrades, IBT said in another report. The news could be really depressing for S3 owners who expected more of Lollipop, but we're still lucky to have these custom (though unofficial) builds out.

Specifically, the update is available for Galaxy S3 models GT-I9300I and GT-I9301I. As IBT put it, the firmware should be functional, despite "minor issues." The build takes about 226 MB of storage space.

OTA updates are encouraged, but if you wish to proceed with these builds, we recommend backing-up of files. Note that there are also prerequisites to complete in flashing procedures.
