Ricky Martin has just released a new track titled "Disparo Al Corazón" ("Shot Through the Heart").

The song, which the singer describes as spoken in metaphors with "absolute openness, sensitivity, and honesty," is the second single from his album "A Quien Quiera Escuchar" ("For Whoever Wants to Listen"), Latin Times reports. Martin collaborated with Pedro Capó, Yoel Henríquez, and Rafael Esparza Ruíz to write and compose the track.

Listen to "Disparo Al Corazón" below.

According to Entertainment Focus, Martin's upcoming tenth studio album will officially come out in markets on February 10, 2015 through Sony Latin in the U.S. The album's carrier single and the first one to be released in public is titled "Adios," which, according to Straits Times, "brings a Latin beat to a tune inspired by 1930s burlesque."

"A Quien Quiera Escuchar" will mark Martin's first record since 2011's "Música + Alma + Sexo." The official tracklisting of the album hasn't been released yet, but fans should expect further news about the singer's new music in the coming weeks, Entertainment Focus adds.

Martin announced the official launch date of his new album through video messages in English and Spanish. "We're going to have a very interesting year full of music, partying and romantic times," the crooner said in the recording while clad in a sleeveless shirt revealing his tattooed arms, according to Straits Times.

Aside from the forthcoming album, fans of the singer should also expect to see him as a judge on "The Voice Mexico," Entertainment Focus notes.

Ricky Martin Death Hoax

A viral death hoax recently surfaced on the Internet, claiming that the 43-year-old Latin singer died tragically in a car accident. The rumors quickly died when Martin himself shut it down through posting a series of photos on his Instagram account, CBS News reports.

According to the news outlet, Martin responded to the death hoax by sharing a few beautiful images on Instagram, taken in an undisclosed location on the photo sharing website. He playfully captioned the pictures "Hello from #heaven" and "Sunset from #heaven."

The rumor was even accompanied by a 40-second footage which the YouTube uploader claimed was Martin, which, in truth, was a recording from the Robin Williams case. The video said, "Multi-platinum artist Enrique Martin Morales, known by the stage name 'Ricky Martin', died at 4.30 p.m. eastern time while driving his BMW convertible car on a freeway in Los Angeles, CA," Young Herald quoted.
