Manny Pacquiao is all ready to explode in his upcoming showdown with Brandon Rios on Saturday,his camp predicting that he will flatten the trash-talking Mexican boxer within four rounds of their WBO International Welterweight clash at Venetian Macao in Macau, China.

Looking to erase the memory of his sixth round TKO loss at the hands of Juan Manuel Marquez last December, the 34-year-old Pacquiao is out to prove that he can still compete and dominate up-and-coming boxers despite entering the twilight years of his career.

In an interview with Seconds Out reporter Radio Rahim, head trainer Freddie Roach said his prized fighter told him of his plan to knock out Rios in the second round of their fight.

Looking For Sensational Win

Pacquiao is aware that he needs to pull off something special in his next bout for him to have a good shot at arranging a mega-showdown with the undefeated Floyd Mayweather Jr. or other big draw boxers next year.

After two consecutive setbacks at the hands of Tim Bradley and Marquez last year, Pacquiao found himself at the bottom of the Top 10 pound-for-pound list after lording on top of boxing for almost half a decade.

Pacquiao hasn't scored a knockout victory since peppering Miguel Cotto in the 12^th round of their Welterweight Championship showdown in 2009.

With a second-round knockout prediction on his mind, the eight-division champ will try to relive his brutal second-round KO win against Great Britain's Ricky Hatton.

Hatton, who hasn't been the same since absorbing Pacman's devastating punch, possesses a fighting style very much similar to Rios' technique.

Hatton and Rios are both brawlers with little regard for defense. Many boxing analysts believed Rios' lack of lateral movement and speed will make him a punching bag for Pacquiao, who can launch rapid fire shots from different angles.

Still, Pacquiao and his team are takinga cautious approach to things as they try to prevent another miscue that could lead to another shocking loss for the Filipino boxing star. At 26 years old, there's no doubt that Rios is capable of knocking out any A-list boxer, including Pacquiao, if given a chance.

The "Pacquiao vs. Rios" showdown will be broadcasted live at 9 p.m. Saturday night on HBO Pay-Per-View.
