Fresh off from the divorce rumors, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are once again under the spotlight, and this time, gossipmongers are saying that the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star is struggling to get pregnant with baby no. 2.

According to Radar Online, Kim is considering getting a surrogate mother for her second offspring. Her sister, Kourtney, stated in 2013 that she would agree to carry a baby for Khloe, but it looks like she won't extend the same invitation to Kim.

"No way would Kourtney carry Kim's baby," an insider close to the famous family revealed to Radar Online. "She'd do it for Khloe in a heartbeat, but Kim is such a control freak, she knows it would be a nightmare."

If surrogacy is indeed Kim's plan in order to have a second child, she would have to train her eyes elsewhere. Selecting the surrogate mother "will be done with the utmost discretion" and she will be "carefully screened," the news outlet noted.

As to why the TV personality would opt for surrogacy, Radar Online reported that it was because Kim doesn't want to have another weight gain, which she experienced when she was pregnant with North, her daughter with rapper Kanye West. Kim got pregnant with North months after dating the musician.

"Having worked very hard to get her famous body back into shape, Kim is afraid of being unable to do it again," the Radar Online source revealed. "Besides the weight gain, the pregnancy was very hard for Kim's body. Constantly having cramps, and being uncomfortable made her miserable."

The TV star also recently talked to the E! International Press Junket in Los Angeles, revealing that getting pregnant for the second time is harder, Daily Mail reported. She also stated that she and Kanye are considering In Vitro Fertilization or IVF.

"It's been more challenging to get pregnant the second time around. When you're not planning it, it happens. It's just how God works. And when you want it so bad, it's not happening," Kim said, as quoted by Daily Mail.

Kim and Kanye's daughter was considered by the TV personality as "a miracle baby." Speaking to Elle UK, Kim revealed that she didn't expect to be pregnant with North, according to Radar Online.

"A few years ago I was told I could never get pregnant. Three different doctors told me the same thing, which is why I wanted to have my eggs frozen. I was just about to do that when I found out I was pregnant with North​," she revealed to the magazine, as quoted by the news outlet.
