Sure, being young billionaire Christian Grey may cause an uproar. After all, Mr. Grey is hot as hell, and he's got sexual prowess that many would love to fantasize about. But for Jamie Dornan, it is not the lack of privacy or badgering fans that worries him, following this very talked-about role. His concern is that fans aren't exactly happy about him being the sizzling hot dominant, and for that, he's fearing for his life.

In an interview with Details magazine, Dornan admitted that he is afraid of being killed the same way John Lennon was in 1980 - shot by one of his fans.

"I almost don't want to put this out there into the ether, but I fear I'll get murdered, like John Lennon, by one of those mad fans at the premiere. Because a lot of people are very angry that I'm playing this character. And I'm a father now, and a husband. I don't want to die yet," he said. 

He added that he knows the mounting attention that the movie has been getting, saying, "[I'm] very aware of opinion regarding the film, whether it be positive or negative. It is, by its nature, an easy target."

That's probably why he seems to be getting a lot of stress, especially now that the movie's premiere is just a month away. 

He also added, "And when I do get murdered, people will say, 'God, isn't it haunting how he did that interview in Details magazine and predicted his own death on the red carpet?'"

But whether or not he actually did get death threats or if he's just being slightly paranoid, it was not mentioned. However, if he's seriously concerned about getting killed on the red carpet, then it may be time to up his security, as suggested by Entertainment Tonight.

"Fifty Shades of Grey" opens in theaters on February 13, and to get ready for his role, Dornan admitted to trying a bit of method acting - by visiting sex dungeons! He admitted to Elle Magazine, "I went there, they offered me a beer, and they did ... whatever they were into. I saw a dominant with one of his two submissives,"

He admitted to finding the experience amusing, but being a dad, he refrained from touching his family when he came home, saying, "It was an interesting evening. Then going back to my wife and newborn baby afterwards ... I had a long shower before touching either of them."
