One of Hollywood's favorite "It" couple, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds just welcomed a bouncing baby girl, and they could not be any happier.
The "Gossip Girl" alum gave birth to a baby girl near the couple's New York home, just before New Year, and The Daily Mail reported that according to a now-deleted tweet, the baby is named Violet.
A source for Us Magazine, however, said that the tweet was fake, and the baby's name is yet unknown. The Daily Mail tried to reach out to Blake's representative, but did not get a response. A source also said, "The baby came early but everyone is happy and healthy. The Bedford house is all prepared. They're going to stay up there for the baby's first days."
Being a mother is a dream-come-true for Blake, as she previously told the magazine that motherhood is something that she wanted at an early age. She explained, "It's something that I've always wanted ever since I was a little girl. I knew I wanted to have a lot of kids because I had come from a big family so it was always important to me. So it's just the excitement of that finally being here."
While nothing has been confirmed yet about Blake's and Ryan's baby except for the gender, Blake's "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" co-stars hinted about her childbirth in an Instagram post by Amber Tamblyn, the girls in animal masks and captioning it, "Missing our unicorn, Blake. Happy new year, love Alexis, America and me. #sisterhood2015 #bigthingscoming."
And while many would want to take a break after birthing a child, Blake was ready to roll up her sleeves and go back to work and took to Instagram to promote her website, Preserve, by posting several custom-designed items that she made herself.
In a New Year's day post on Instagram, the new mother posted, "Happy New Year!! Wanted to share a painting I made this year with the incredible @ashleylongshoreart. Best teacher ever! ;) Anyone recognize any of these bugs from anywhere else? (Hint some are also on my couch)."
The painting in question is a colorful one of beetles in different shapes, colors, and sizes. She also posted another update regarding her work, gushing, "Thank you guys for kind notes about my painting! A few of you asked about buying it. It's a sentimental piece so it's up in my home, but because that piece means so much to me, I incorporated parts of it into my PreserveHome collaboration with @ashleylongshoreart."
Congrats to the lovely couple!
