Held at the American Bank Center in Texas, Monday Night Raw witnessed some great moments in wrestling as The Authority returned to the show after they were reinstated by John Cena.

SportsKeeda said Cena said sorry for his decision to bring back The Authority noting that his most crucial decision was to save Edge and that it was something he really had to do.

Before he could even finish his statement, Triple H and Stephanie Mcmahon stole his show. The Game announced the John Cena vs Brock Lesnar match which he said will happen at Royal Rumble 2015.

A similar Bleacher Report said that Mcmahon called the event as "John Cena Appreciation Night". She reportedly asked Cena to be present at the celebratory dinner after Monday Night Raw.

Triple H, on the other hand, also announced that Dolph Ziggler will face Bad News Barret for the Intercontinental Championship which started the Monday night show.

So, how did the whole Monday Night Raw fare? Let's take the match one by one.

Barret vs Ziggler

Barret became the new IC champion after he was helped by Kane to destroy Ziggler. SportsKeeda said that Ziggler earlier dominated the match when he countered the attacks of his opponent and made a pinfall which he thought was already the end of the game. But Kane came just on time and said that to win the match, a wrestler should make 2 out of 3 falls.

"Bad News for Ziggler was followed by an immediate big boot and a Wasteland on Ziggler for the pin. With Kane's distraction, Barrett hit the Bullhammer on Ziggler and won the bout to become the new IC champion," explained SportsKeeda.

Bryan Wyatt vs Dean Ambrose

The ambulance match was one of the most awaited events on Monday night and Wyatt proved that he had more strength than his opponent. Wyatt slumped into a table when Ambrose leapt from the ambulance but the former was able to get his revenge when his sister, Abigail, emerged into the match and got Ambrose inside the ambulance.

Authority dominates again

As the night was going well for most wrestlers and winners, an unexpected announcement was made by The Authority as Triple H brought Erick Rowan, Ryback and Ziggler out and slapped them with 30, 60 and 90 days suspension without pay respectively.

It was surely an exciting night full of surprises and unexpected twists with the three fighter eventually being fired by the couple who also asked the eliminated wrestlers to thank Cena for their fate.
