It's been a hotly debated treatment for Christian Grey's sister Mia, from Rita Ora's selection down to the whole cinematic concept of the role, but this time, at least it's getting Ora's approval.

In Nov. 27, coinciding with the pop singer's birthday, the "Fifty Shades of Grey" Facebook page posted a photo of her sporting a short bob, and comments have been harsh.

One said, "This has just ruined it for me," as another said, "She kind of ruins my hopes for the movie." "Not how I pictured Mia," said another top comment. Another echoes the same sentiment in: "I imagined someone like Alice from twilight playing Mia. NOT HER."

With the new styling less than two months before the movie's Valentine's Day premiere, "It would appear that Ora's character in the highly anticipated film 'Fifty Shades Of Grey' has been given a sultry makeover following the backlash from critics last month," said the Daily Mail, and Ora gave her thumbs up.

"I like this. I can't wait till next year! #2015 #bots!" she said in an Instagram post, which may breach the 90,000 mark anytime soon. With the post also came compliments like "Much better than the first PIC. A bit more like Mia that i wondered," and "can't waittttt" for the movie.

Ora, who sang "RIP" and "I Will Never Let You Down," plays the adopted sister of Christian Grey, who the E. L. James trilogy and the movie adaptation written by Kelly Marcel and directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson follow through a relationship of love and BDSM -- bondage and discipline, dominance and submission, sadism and masochism.

The story has made waves as a book and is anticipated as a flick because of the sexual intensity. On her role, Ora told OK! Magazine UK: "...[F]or me this was such a great cameo to be involved in, and even though I'm only in it for a little bit, it's opened the door to a lot of movie things that I haven't actually announced yet."

"'Fifty Shades' is going to make a lot of waves, I'll tell you that much. It's going to be awesome," she added.

The main role is played by model-actor Jamie Dornan. The Grey family is completed by father Carrick (Andrew Airlie), mother Grace (Marcia Gay Harden) and eldest brother Elliot (Luke Grimes). The female love interest, Anastasia Steele, is played by Dakota Johnson.

Other stars are Jennifer Ehle as Carla May Wilks, Eloise Mumford as Kate Kavanagh and Max Martini as Jayson Taylor. Callum Keith Rennie is Ray Steele, Dylan Neal is Robin Adams and Victor Rasuk is Jose Rodriguez.

It is not the first time Ora, also a UK "The Voice" judge, acted on the big screen, having been on "Spivs" (2004) and "Fast & Furious 6" (2013).
