It's still a long way to go before 2016, so fans of Batman and Superman will have to wait a while before the trailers will be released.

That does not mean that fans will have to wait for the official ones though, especially the more creative types, who wanted to tinker around with the films and make their own publicity, whether it means that they change the color scheme or recreate movie poster to their taste.

This time, however, Cinema Blend has noted that one big fan has made another superhero crossover film, but instead of sticking it with "Batman v. Superman" he crossed a Marvel favorite with Superman, as he replaced Batman with Tony Stark's Iron Man.

The video, made by YouTube user Alex Luthor, created the epic video that faced off the DC and Marvel characters, and properly done so. The trailer was made with cuts from different "Iron Man" and "Man of Steel," lining up the scenes quite well in order to make it seem like the heroes are in the same film.

According to ComicBook.com, this is not the first crossover fan trailer that made waves online. In fact, since the Marvel and DC film slates were announced earlier in the year, tons of fan-made trailers came up, many of them mashing up heroes from the competing companies, and others, used merely to tease the awaiting fans.

However, despite the popularity of mash-ups, it will be quite a while before DC and Marvel will even begin to think of doing films together.

However, for those awaiting the upcoming "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice," the film is said to be very anti-Superman, which is probably the reason why Luthor's fan's concept divulges on the possibility of Earth needing protection against the alien superhero.

"Batman v. Superman" is supposed to serve as a sequel to "Man of Steel" but it is not quite sure where it will pick up in the story.

It is very unlikely that Clark Kent and Tony Stark will ever go head-on against each other, but the Kryptonian hero will take on Gotham's caped crusader on March 25, 2016.
