Microsoft's next tablet, dubbed the Surface Pro 4, continue to create a lot of buzz. This time, the Gospel Herald cited rumors claiming that it could arrive with a 14-inch screen -- living up to the adage that bigger is always better.

In essence, a larger display remains possible, since it appears to be one trend tech giants enjoy venturing into. This year, we saw Apple make the iPhone 6 Plus, so it's safe to think of possibilities in Microsoft's case. But of course, we'll have to hear some confirmation first.

But then again, the recent report coincided with Master Herald's earlier note, which suggested that the Surface Pro 4 likely releases in more than one size. Reportedly, one version would measure around 8 inches, while another falls somewhere between 13 and 14 inches.

Realty Today likewise noted that the device could have a larger display. However, the source added that it could also weigh lighter than predecessors Surface Pro 2 and Surface Pro 3. Nobody prefers a heavier hand-load after all. So, if this is true, Microsoft will be in position to prove that bigger can actually be lighter.

As we have previously reported, the Surface Pro 4 is expected to be more of a laptop-tablet hybrid, more conveniently termed as "laplet." It was also said that the device might feature things already found in the Surface Pro 3, such as a 12-inch display and Ethernet adapters. In addition, it was speculated that the new tablet includes a larger RAM and faster processor.

Meanwhile, Design & Trend took note of a recent allegation which claims that a certain Surface Pro Mini will be unveiled by Microsoft just before 2014 ends. That's right -- a miniature tablet might pave its way over Christmas even before the firecrackers pop!

The outlet cited Chinese blog UDN as source of the speculation, and interestingly, the device might just be the first to pack Microsoft's newest Windows 10. Accordingly, the Surface Pro Mini could sport either an 8- or a 10.1-inch display.

In another report, the Gospel Herald mentioned industry predictions, believing that Surface Pro 4 launches in 2015 -- which could actually be a simultaneous unveiling alongside Windows 10.

What do you think about a larger screen for Microsoft's Surface Pro 4? Will a Surface Pro Mini come out for the holidays? Let us hear your thoughts in the comments section.
