There's really no stopping Miley Cyrus from doing what she wants, even if it means adding a "Mrs." to her name oh-so-suddenly.

According to a report for Hollywood Life, rumors are rampant that Miley and her new beau, Patrick Schwarzenegger got married secretly in Miami, and the reason that they kept the nuptials under wraps is the fact that Patrick's mother, Maria Shriver, is not a big fan of her son's tongue-wagging girl.

Reports said that Maria's disapproval was cemented when Miley had a sex-themed birthday party, and photographs of the singer topless and straddling a penis-shaped bucking bronco turned her off. A source for Hollywood Life even said, "The birthday party with all the penis pictures disgusted her. That was the worst thing Miley could have done. Maria is very, very worried about the influence Miley's having on Patrick."

And that was only when she found out who her son was dating. A marriage, on the other hand, may be worse in her eyes. In fact, a source even said that Maria "would disown Patrick for getting married - first, for not getting a prenup, and second, for actually following through with a marriage without her approval."

Looks like this marriage is starting out on the rocks.

Hollywood Life noted in a separate article that the rumors came from the cover of the December 29 issue of Life & Style magazine when they reported that Miley and Patrick exchanged booze-filled vows in early December, even noting that the ceremony was held inside of a friend's hotel suite, and Patrick giggling with excitement.

A source for Hollywood Life shared, "A little person stripper pal of Miley's who's ordained as a minister was waiting."

But here's the zinger:

The rumors are apparently false, said Gossip Cop!

It's a bait-and-switch, as Life & Style even noted that the union "won't be legal unless Miley and Patrick apply for a marriage license."

So they're not married, but Miley does seem to have wedding bells in mind, when The Daily Mail shared a photo of the singer glancing at a beautiful wedding dress while she and Patrick were out shopping recently.

The International Business Times also thinks that they may have not been dating long, but they have been taking their relationship seriously, and Miley already has babies in her mind.

This is not the first time that crazy rumors about Miley and Patrick ran amok. As noted by the website, the Bangerz singer was also hit with pregnancy rumors when she missed her period in October, and with one of two pregnancy tests coming back positive.

Despite the rumors though, Miley and Patrick stayed mum on both subject matters, although at this point, it seems too early for them to go there. What do you have to say about the rumors?
