New leaks from "Star Wars: Episode 7" has been revealed and there is an important plot point that is already familiar: it will revolve around Luke Skywalker, somehow.
Star Wars fans have been familiar with rumors of Luke being held captive in a planet with a super weapon, and that he is living in seclusion and fear from his own abilities. As it turned out, the Fanpedia has confirmed both rumors to be true. The Guardian even explained that because of his fear of being tracked down, Luke has only trained a handful of Jedi Padawan to keep his cover.
According to the website, Episode 7 will be the darkest film yet in the franchise. However, it will feature a sliver of the comedy from the original films to lighten the story, with the little comic relief coming from the famous droid sidekicks, R2-D2 and C-3PO.
The International Business Times also reported that the main plot of the story involves three new characters named Finn, Rey, and Poe, (played by John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, and Oscar Isaac) who are looking for the elusive Luke Skywalker with the help of Han Solo and Leia (played by original cast members Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher). A new droid will also be introduced, called BB-8, but there is not much that his known about him just yet.
The website also noted that the trailer seemed to indicate that the force is more active (thus the title, "The Force Awakens"). With Palpatine and Darth Vader dead, and Luke being evasive and refusing to use his own powerful force, there is no stopping the Light and Dark sides from being.
Fans are excited for the stories to arc, however, the plot details leaked did not stop at Episode 7. Due to the massive email hacking attack on Sony, Indie Wire also indicated that plot details from Episodes 8 and 9 were uncovered, and they are reported to center around Luke and Leia.
The Daily Beast noted that an Email from Columbia Pictures President of Production Michael De Luca discussed plans for the upcoming films. In the email, De Luca wrote, "No one knows what they're about but Boba Fett is rumored to be the subject of one. Rian Johnson as you know is doing the main ones, episodes 8 and 9 of the Luke and Leia story lines, after JJ. Not sure anything is gained by looking at what Lucasfilm is doing except we are stalking all these people too, except Whitta whom I think blows."
"Star Wars Episode 7" is set to be released on December 2015.
