Omer Asik admitted that he was frustrated in the past few weeks, but the Houston Rockets center said that he is ready to move on and continue helping his team win games.

Asik, who has been benched and was absent in several team games and practices last week, admitted that he was unhappy with the recent turn of events, but the 27-year-old center said that everything is behind him now.

"The thing is, I was just frustrated. It's behind me now. I'm just looking forward to help my team to win," said Asik in an interview with Jonathan Feigen of Houston Chronicle.

Asik has been a consistent subject of several trade talks after he reportedly demanded a change of scenery when the Rockets acquired superstar center Dwight Howard during the offseason, knowing that his playing time will be affected greatly.

When asked if he still wanted to be dealt as soon as possible, the three-year veteran declined to give a definite answer, reiterating that he is focused on helping the Rockets win.

"I do not talk about that. I never talk about that. My focus is just winning and helping my team as much as I can," Asik said. "I really don't want to talk about any specific things. It's behind me now. That's all I can say."

Teammate Chandler Parsons also confirmed that Asik apologized to the team on Monday.

The versatile forward added that he believes Asik is just letting his frustrations get to him, but Parsons was confident that the 7-foot Asik will be ready to prove his worth during their upcoming games.

"We put it behind us," Parsons said. "He was frustrated. We all understood that. We all knew where he was coming from. He came to us like a man. We accepted his apology. We're ready to play."

Asik, who started in eight of his 10 games in the 2013-14 NBA season, is averaging 4.9 points and 6.9 rebounds in 19.2 minutes a game, which is almost half of Asik's 10.1 points and 11.7 rebounds in 30 minutes per game last season.
