Delena may be the perfect couple in the hit vampire series from CW, but when Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev fizzled out in real life, fans were devastated: after all they looked awfully cute together on and off cam.

Ian has moved on with Nikki Reed (and may even be buying her a ring soon, according to a report by the International Business Times) and Nina has moved on from a one of her "The Vampire Diaries" co-star... to another.

According to the Hollywood Life, Nina created a frenzy on Twitter when she was reportedly seen sharing kisses with 26-year-old Chris Wood, who plays Kai, a new character introduced this season, who happens to be the creepy pyscopath.

However, according to The Epoch Times, things are still casual between the two, a source saying, "They are great friends who have hooked up on the recent times they have been out together but they are not currently looking to start a relationship. They are both very cool about it and it has not ruined working with each other or caused any issues."

The Hollywood Life also noted that the Nina and Chris have been close on and off set, and it's easy to see their friendship turning into so much more. An eyewitness for the magazine even said that the pair was spotted ice skating in NYC with some major PDA to match.

However neither Nina nor Chris have confirmed the rumors yet, and despite the support from their fans, Nina has been linked to several guys since she and Ian broke up, among which included Mark Foster of the band, Foster the People, and Gossip Girl's Chace Crawford.

If rumors of her relationship with Chris did turn out to be true, though, fans have already shown support, many of them taking their thoughts to Twitter.

Rebelle Fleur with the handle @BiancoQ13bb76 typed, "is it true?! Are Nina Dobrev and you a thing? Please, say YES! #woodbrev #TVD @ChristophrWood."

Still another, Scott, with the handle @TheOnlyOTH tweeted, "Nina Dobrev and Chris Wood are dating? They make a cute couple."

A fan page for Delena with the handle, @TVDdelenatica even posted a screen cap showing Nina commenting on a video Chris posted. The comment went to say, "@christophrwood OMG !! HAHAHAHHAHA LMFAO Why are you my favorite person on the planet right now..."
