For the people who love EL James's "50 Shades of Grey," a life like Anastasia Steele's is fascinating. After all, not many are given the opportunity to be pursued by billionaires.

However, for Lily Temperley of London, Miss Steele's life is not all that it's cracked up to be, especially if her real-life Christian Grey is a married man using her for sex.

In a report by the Daily Mail, Miss Temperley admitted that she had an affair with a powerful man who lavished her with gifts, holidays and champagne. The relationship however, went from being a dream to a nightmare when it started to become controlling.

At first, Temperley was enamored by the man, saying: "I always thought that he was one of those old charmers - he spoke very well and was had a reputation as a ladies' man. But it wasn't until we were in drinking situations that he made it clear he wanted to take me out to dinner.

"I was very resistant initially because I knew where it was going to lead, but I eventually just got won over by expensive gifts and amazing holidays. I do have my head screwed on and I wanted to pursue a career and settle down, but my head got turned."

She admitted that she was swayed by all the luxuries set out in front of her, noting:

"He knew my dress and shoe size and my closet and shoe cabinet is all the better for it. We would go and buy six or eight dresses from Dolce & Gabbana, Prada, or wherever it was.

"He was very up on style, so he already had an idea in his head that he wanted me in a short cocktail dress or something body-hugging or whatever. It was amazing, because we would go and spend a weekend in New York and I would come away with these pretty dresses and matching shoes."

But then he became controlling, and Temperley noted how he started to invite her to orgies and swinger parties. Eventually, she got out, and it was by no means an easy feat. She recalled, "It proved to be difficult for a good 18 months afterwards. He couldn't handle that he wasn't in control of this situation - he always had to be in control."

Cosmopolitan Magazine noted that the rest of the story can be read from Miss Temperley's new book, called "Sex, Lies, & Banking" where she detailed her life that is quite so similar to Anastasia Steele's in the fictitious "50 Shades of Grey."

The movie, which hits theaters Feb. 13, 2015, stars Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele and Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey.
