Mark Dec. 15 on you calendars, because it is the day that can make or break some teams in the NBA.

Calling it "the first major threshold in the NBA trade season," the International Business Times said the mayhem, just a few days removed from today, will shove free agents who inked contracts before Sept. 16 into the trade market.

With the gap lasting in Feb. 19, we might see trades changing the whole landscape, with managers cooking up deals to get rid of those who've not performed and take in those they think can boost their chances. Here are five players that'll most likely show up on the list.

[1] Goran Dragic, Phoenix Suns

"Management must [look at potential replacements] because Dragic will likely leave in search of a bigger role," said the Bleacher Report, explaining that, with two others playing the point guard, his playtime has decreased from 35.1 to 31.1 minutes per game.

His usage rate has also dropped, resulting in reductions in average points per game and assists, per the report. With the Suns middling in the West, the player might automatically grab an offer from a better team, it said.

According to HNGN, the 28-year-old may go to Houston Rockets, Dallas Mavericks and Los Angeles Lakers.

[2] Jeremy Lin, Los Angeles Lakers

"Golden State Warriors owner Joe Lacob expressed interest in the Asian-American star," said Travelers Today, and at a time when he lost his spot on the starting lineup to Ronnie Price.

With the Lakers looking at a downward slope across the board in Lin's portfolio, the team might capitalize on his potential as a good-enough back-up player, said the International Business Times. He can be a dependable late-game player for any team, it added.

[3] Roy Hibbert, Indiana Pacers

With hope of a good 2014-15 season dimming, the Pacers might let go of the player to gear for the next edition of the league, said Rant Sports, predicting that the Cleveland Cavaliers will grab that opening.

According to the same report, the Cavaliers need the effective rim protector in Hibbert. HNGN added: "He's at times seemed unhappy in Indiana, and he has a player option on next season."

[4] Amar'e Stoudemire, New York Knicks

"Very few things have gone right for the 4-20 Knicks, but Stoudemire's resurgence is one of them," said the International Business Times. The knee injuries have stopped bugging the hooper and he now has good statistics to boast.

He had an average of 13.3 points and 7.5 rebounds, and that can boost his trade value, the report said. The Philadelphia 76ers have been eyeing him since July.

[5] Rajon Rondo, Boston Celtics

"The Celtics star has been linked to rumors for years, and this season won't be any different," declared HNGN, saying the Sacramento Kings and the Houston Rockets are interested in him.

Bleacer Report said Rondo is a coveted point guard, adding the Los Angeles Lakers to the list of fitting teams for him, even as there appears to be no talk just yet.
