Mark Hamill is back to reprise his Luke Skywalker role in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," the upcoming installment of the popular sci-fi film franchise. Hamill will be coming back to the big screen with two of his original "Star Wars" co-stars-Harrison Ford as Han Solo and Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia.

Hamill recently talked to Entertainment Online about what it feels like to reunite with Ford and Fisher. According to the "Elf: Buddy's Musical Christmas" actor, the first time their trio reunited wasn't on set.

"They had a dinner at a restaurant for us," Hamill told the news outlet. "They booked a room at a restaurant where we all met the new cast members. The three of us came together. In many ways, it was an out-of-body experience, but within the first five minutes, it felt like we had never been apart...We were all laughing and it was like we were on a break during 'The Empire Strikes Back'."

Hamill also weighed in on plot spoilers about the upcoming "Star Wars" film, which is set to come out in theaters on Dec. 18, 2015. According to the actor, fans shouldn't expect him to divulge plot details about the movie.

"I don't understand why people would want to know what happens!" he said, as quoted by Entertainment Online. "I love not knowing. It's a whole different world now where there's an industry whose entire goal is to leak-to leak the entire script. I don't understand it."

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens," which is directed by J.J. Abrams, will feature a new set of trio and protagonists, including John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, and Oscar Isaac. Aside from Ford, Hamill, and Fisher, original cast members such as Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker are also back to reprise their roles, Mirror reports.

Newcomers include Adam Driver, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow, Gwendoline Christie, and Oscar-winning actress Lupita Nyong'o, Mirror added. The plot of "The Force Awakens" is set 30 years after 1983's "Return of the Jedi," which ended with the death of Darth Vader/ Anakin Skywalker and showed Han Solo finally getting together with Princess Leia, Luke Skywalker's sister.

Hamill revealed that he never expected to star in another "Star Wars" film. The actor even admitted to Entertainment Online that he was anxious when the prequels came out.

"It was the last thing in the world that I ever expected to happen. We had a beginning, a middle and an end. I was able to let go," the actor said. "I was nervous when the prequels came out. But by the time the prequels came out I was surprisingly well-adjusted," Hamill concluded, as reported by Entertainment Online.
