Irrfan Khan, one of the stars in the upcoming 2015 film "Jurassic World," recently talked to The Hollywood Reporter to discuss his vital role in the much-awaited "Jurassic Park" sequel.

Not much has been revealed about the "Life of Pi" actor's role in "Jurassic World," but Comic Book Movie reports that Khan will portray the role of Simon Masrani, the new owner of the dinosaur park who "inadvertently sets off the film's devastating events after creating a new species of dinosaur."

JurassicWorld.org added that the character is also the CEO of the fictional company Masrani Global. Check out the official viral website of the company here.

"I'm playing the park owner, a very flamboyant person. When the first 'Jurassic Park' came out, I barely had the money to see it and now I'm playing a part. He's trying to entertain the world with good intentions, but sometimes being flamboyant doesn't mean having much wisdom," Khan told The Hollywood Reporter.

When asked by the news outlet about what fans can expect from the upcoming film of the popular sci-fi franchise, the actor said that "Jurassic World" is akin to a scary adventure.

"For sure it will have more vibe. It's the Jurassic World of these times, with all the technical experimentation. It has now become a fully-bloomed dinosaur amusement park. Dinosaurs in this film will definitely be scary, but this is not a horror film, so it will be like a scary adventure," Khan said, as quoted by The Hollywood Reporter.

Khan also revealed that he had a good relationship with director Colin Trevorrow while filming "Jurassic World." He added that the director had good chemistry with the actors.

"As an actor what's most important is how the story and the director make you feel on the set and that's immaterial if you have CGI or real partners. If you have a good chemistry with the director everything's fine and I really loved the playfulness of the script and Colin's approach," the actor explained, The Hollywood Reporter said.

'Jurassic World' Release Date, Plot, and Cast

Aside from Khan, "Jurassic World" will also star lead actor Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Nick Robinson, Ty Simpkins, Vincent D'Onofrio, BD Wong, Omar Sy, Jake Johnson, Judy Greer, Lauren Lapkus, Katie McGrath, Brian Tee, Andy Buckley, and James DuMont. Trevorrow penned the screenplay of the film with Derek Connolly, JurassicWorld.org reports.

Steven Spielberg, who created the past "Jurassic Park" films, is the executive producer of the fourth movie. According to JurassicWorld.org, the upcoming film has been in development since 2001 and was only given a go by Universal Pictures in early 2013.

The plot of the movie will revolve around the Diabolus Rex or D-Rex, a new hybrid and genetically engineered dinosaur in the fictional theme park, Jurassic World. Chaos ensues in the park when the vicious creature escapes from captivity, Rolling Stone reports.
