The competition heats up on "The Voice" as three artists (two from Team Adam and one from Team Blake) have advanced as finalists, while two contestants were unfortunately sent home. Who will claim the much-coveted last spot in the Top 4? Read our recap below.

Chris Jamison and Matt McAndrew from Team Adam have both bagged two spots in the Top 4, with Blake Shelton's Craig Wayne Boyd joining them. According to Entertainment Weekly, McAndrew and Boyd are "indestructible frontrunners" and "likely to be the last two standing."

Unfortunately, Taylor John Williams of Gwen Stefani's team and Damien of Team Adam were sent home this week, TV Line reports. But even though America voted off the two, Entertainment Weekly opines that Williams and Damien have the biggest chances to be included in the Top 4.

Entertainment Weekly reasons that America tends "to stick with their favorites to the end," and that the two delivered impressive performances during Tuesday's episode. Damien sang "Grenade" and Williams performed his rendition of "Wicked Game."

Watch their performances below.

This week's "The Voice" also featured a brand-new Wild Card round, wherein all the previously eliminated contestants from the last few weeks performed one song for a chance to claim the last spot in the Top 4. The nine artists sang their hearts out to win America's votes and convince them that they deserve to be one of the four finalists. Listed below are the songs they performed, as reported by TV Line.

Reagan James (Team Blake) - "Put Your Records On"

Jessie Pitts (Team Blake) - "Zombie"

Ryan Sill (Team Gwen) - "Marry Me"

Anita Antoinette (Team Gwen) - "Waiting on the World to Change"

Taylor John Williams (Team Gwen) - "Wicked Game"

Damien (Team Adam) - "Grenade"

Sugar Joans (Team Pharrell) - "Back to Black"

Luke Wade (Team Pharrell) - "Have a Little Faith in Me"

DaNica Shirey (Team Pharrell) - "Without You"

Some artists even added their own gimmicks to their performances. Sill got down on one knee and sang the Train hit song "Marry Me" to one of the girls in the audience, according to Entertainment Weekly. Antoinette gave a special twist to John Mayer's "Waiting on the World to Change" by singing it with a yell and a "shouty, rap-style bit."

The winner for the Wild Card round will be announced by "The Voice" host Carson Daly on "The Today Show" on Wednesday (December 10), TV Line noted.
