The cold, bitter winds send shivers through the bones of residents in northern territories. But not too far south, in the beautiful city of Dallas, things are about to heat up. Come February, while the rest of the country is buried in thick blankets of pillowy snow, the hit series “Dallas” will return to TNT for its third season. According to TVLine, the season 3 premiere will air on Monday, Feb. 24 at 9/8c, one day before “Rizzoli & Isles” and “Perception” both return to their Tuesday timeslots.
In addition to receiving an official premiere date, fans will be pleased to hear that the new season will be chock full of hook-ups, betrayals and “the biggest Southfork wedding yet,” executive producer Michael Robin says.
Back in July, cast member Josh Henderson announced that “Dallas” Season 3 would be split into two halves. Feb. 24 will mark the beginning of the first eight episode run, with seven more episodes to follow next summer. Showrunner Cynthia Cidre promises that each installment will include its own cliffhanger to keep fans on the edges of their seats during the season’s downtime.
In addition to the returning cast, AnnaLynne McCrod from “90210” will join the team as a tomboy-ish ranch hand love interest for Christopher and Juan Pablo Di Pace (“Camp”) will join as season regular Nicolas Trevino, a self-made billionaire entrepreneur.
So mark your calendars. “Dallas” will return to TNT Feb. 24 at 9/8c.
