More details have emerged surrounding George Zimmerman's latest arrest in Florida on Monday.

According to the Seminole County Sheriff's Office, Zimmerman was arrested Monday afternoon for allegedly pointing a shotgun at his girlfriend and pushing her out of her house as he packed to move out, reports USA Today.

His girlfriend, who has been identified as 27-year-old Samantha Scheibe, has shared her rented house in Apopka with Zimmerman since August. However, the couple reportedly got into a domestic altercation when Scheibe asked Zimmerman, 30, to leave on Nov. 18.

In a frantic 911 call, Scheibe told the dispatcher that Zimmerman had broken several items within her home and threatened her with his shotgun. He also barricaded himself inside the house until deputies came in, said Chief Deputy Dennis Lemma at a news conference.

Lemma said Zimmerman was unarmed and did not resist arrest around 1 p.m. The arrest report said Zimmerman had apparently locked up the shotgun before deputies arrived.

Zimmerman was charged with aggravated assault with a weapon, a felony, in addition to misdemeanor battery-domestic violence and criminal mischief.

He is being held without bail pending an initial court appearance at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.

According to Lemma, the argument between Zimmerman and Scheibe involved "some kind of separation in their relationship."

The arrest report states that after Scheibe told Zimmerman to pack his things, he "cocked the shotgun" before putting the two guns in one case. She told deputies he then became upset as she carried his belongings out and he took out the shotgun. Scheibe said she was going to call police, and Zimmerman pointed the weapon at her for a minute and "asked her if she really wanted to do that."

Zimmerman then smashed a glass-top coffee table with the gun butt and ordered Sheibe out, she told deputies. He pushed her out and locked the door. Scheibe was not injured.

On the contrary, Zimmerman told police in a separate 911 call that she instigated the incident.

"My girlfriend has ... for lack of a better word, gone crazy on me," said Zimmerman while police knocked on the door trying to speak with him, according to ABC News.

"The police is already there and so why are you calling? What happened?" the dispatcher asked.

Zimmerman replied, "I just want everyone to know the truth."

Despite earlier reports, police told ABC that the woman is not pregnant.

Back in 2012, Zimmerman infamously shot and killed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin after he spotted him walking through a gated community in Sanford. He was acquitted of all charges by a jury in July. The shooting sparked national outrage because Zimmerman, who is white and Latino, shot the unarmed African American teenager. Zimmerman's lawyers argued that he killed him self-defense during the trial.

Since he was found not guilty in the high profile murder case, Zimmerman has had multiple run-ins with police including three traffic violation stops. In September, police were called to his estranged wife's father's home amid claims of a domestic dispute, although no charges were ever filed.  Shellie Zimmerman later told NBC that George started to believe that he was "invincible" after her was found not guilty.
