Fans eager to get a glimpse of Rockstar's next DLC for "Grand Theft Auto V" may finally be served for their patience, if current talks are to be believed. International Business Times reported that Rockstar already told the game's followers that a Heists DLC is coming up, although no specific release date was cited.
An earlier note from Product Reviews hinted that "GTA V" update 1.19 might bring the much-awaited Heists. Accordingly, the update (which suggests a 1.05 patch for next-gen consoles) should have arrived by Dec. 2. The outlet is convinced that Heists DLC comes alongside the next major addition among all systems.
Realty Today wrote that some would be expecting the update to bring bug fixes, such as those intended to address connectivity issues.
Apparently, IBT said some YouTube users already spilled the beans, taking the wraps off from Heists, Cops N Crooks and Snow and Christmas DLC.
In a recent report, The Epoch Times cited YouTube user and "GTA" tipster DomisLive who revealed Monday that Heists is indeed coming as part of the next update. In addition, he claimed that Cops N Crooks may also be expected.
According to the outlet, DomisLive provided a number of missions packed in the update. These include a county bank heist, ornate bank heist and another which involved stealing a police vehicle -- all of which are criminal missions.
DomisLive pointed that the DLC arrives for the PS3, Xbox 360, PS4 and Xbox One, wrote Latin Times. The source also noted that the update was said to bring Christmas holiday content.
Two weeks ago, Rockstar expressed its understanding of enthusiastic fans, while providing assurance that Heists is underway, "We know you're all excited for more Updates to come and we've got some really exciting stuff in the works to continue adding to, expanding and evolving the world of 'Grand Theft Auto' Online -- including the highly anticipated launch of Online Heists which will be available for all four consoles as the first 'GTA' Online Update to happen after the game launches on PS4 and Xbox One. We'll have some details on that very soon as well."
Nevertheless, fans seemed to take the upcoming DLC very seriously, even coming up with a website called aretheheiststhereyet.com. The outlet provides a countdown from the time "GTA V" Online came out in 2013. At present, 429 days has lapsed -- and we still don't see any confirmed Heists as of the moment. Yet we can't deny the light shed by these leaks.
What do you think about the reportedly claimed missions? Cast your votes in the poll below. DomisLive's update videos follow.
