Recently engaged Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter are rumored to be expecting their first child.

An insider from Showbiz Spy revealed the news, saying that Hunter is two months pregnant.

"Benedict is delighted," the source told Showbiz Spy. "She is only two months along, so they're keen to keep it a secret until they're past the three months stage. They will deny the pregnancy until they want to announce it. They're very private."

The insider also claims that Cumberbatch and Hunter are planning "to get married before the baby is born" and that the two are both "traditional and don't want their baby to be born out of wedlock."

The couple revealed their engagement early in November through a newspaper announcement, according to International Business Times. The exact wedding date hasn't been made public yet.

"Ben has long dreamed about his settling down and starting a family. All his dreams are finally coming true," Showbiz Spy's source added.

However, it should be noted that the pregnancy news isn't confirmed by the couple yet and their representatives. So for now, all of these are just rumors.

What to Expect From 'Sherlock' Season 4

Cumberbatch, who plays the titular character in the BBC hit "Sherlock," opened up about the show's fourth season. The British actor told Vogue that he will never get tired of playing the role of the highly intelligent Sherlock Holmes.

"If we can keep the quality up," Cumberbatch said, as quoted by Vogue. "I can't imagine that I will ever get tired of being Sherlock. I'd love to play him as an old man."

The fourth season of "Sherlock" will start shooting in 2015, International Business Times reported. 

Mark Gatiss, the show's co-creator, said on Radio Times that fans should expect emotional moments in the upcoming season.

"You can always expect tragedy as well as adventure, that's just how it goes," he told the news outlet.

However, Gatiss didn't confirm on Radio Times whether the tragedy will revolve around Mary Morstan's death, John Watson's wife. Mary died in the "Sherlock Holmes" book series by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, which the BBC show is based on. Gatiss explained that fans should not assume that the character will also die in the TV series.

"Just because it's in the stories doesn't mean it'll happen in the series because there's an awful lot of changes and an awful lot of places to go and things to do," he said.

Gatiss added that he and co-creator Steven Moffat tend to follow Doyle's storylines, but they also integrate their own ideas to the storyline, Radio Times noted.
