It seems that Rosie O'Donnell is part of yet another drama on the set of "The View," with reports slamming the host for being "impossible to work with" on her daytime talk show.
According to TMZ, O'Donnell is apparently not getting along with fellow host, Whoopi Goldberg, also noting that she has been "rude to [other] members of the cast and crew, both on and off camera."
With the less than happy environment on set, TMZ was told that the host has been "very depressed" and has refrained from interacting with the cast and crew, on and off set. Because of this, the executives have been blaming O'Donnell for the dismal ratings.
People from the set have tried talking to her, but they say, to no avail, noting that she might not be able to finish the season, and that she's definitely not going to be signed up for another.
O'Donnell's rep, however, denied the claims, telling TMZ that, "This is absolutely false! Whoopi Goldberg has been the moderator since Whoopi was hired and Rosie knew that before she took the job."
E! News noted that this is not the first time that something like this has happened on set, and Goldberg herself has addressed the rumors over the summer. She said, "Before we get started, I just have something on my mind. You know there is a lot of speculation about a lot of stuff going on here. Yes, I'm here. We don't know who's coming in, but I will tell you this: The respect that I have for the people who work here will not change."
She also added, "I don't fight with people, that's not my way. Quit trying to make me into something I'm not. I'm not a little girl with cat claws. I am not a cat, I am a human being."
Buzzfeed also disputed the rumors of O'Donnell leaving the show, saying that an ABC Spokesperson has disputed the claims. O'Donnell, who joined the View in September 2006 and left several months later in April 2007, has been part of on and off screen problems, the website noting that some of which included her boss, Barbara Walters, and then confrontations with her co-host, Elizabeth Hasselbeck.
In September this year, O'Donnell returned for yet another season, along with Rosie Perez and Nicole Wallace, as well as Whoopi Goldberg again as moderator.
What do you think about O'Donnell's set problems? Will she really get the axe?
