Despite his exit in the wrestling world, CM Punk still starred on the latest new-gen wrestling game "WWE 2K15." The WWE champion said he was compensated with a "big fat check," but he stood up to his decision of never coming back to the WWE ring, International Business Times reported.

CM Punk, who is Philip Jack "Phil" Brooks in real life, told professional wrestler Colt Cobana on his Art of Wrestling podcast on Nov. 26 that after he left WWE in late January, WWE stopped paying his royalty checks worth "a lifetime of money."

To make matters worse, Brooks said WWE fired him due to breach of contract on his wedding day via a Fed-Ex post. In his termination letter, WWE had put pictures of him working as a pro wrestler for UFC, the International Business Times added.

He described the termination as "very calculated and very deliberate." "And as much as I kind of chuckled at it and didn't let it affect my day, I was like once again you pushed too... far. You pushed the wrong guy," Brooks said in his expletive-filled tirade on WWE.

This means that "WWE 2K15" would be the last WWE installment where wrestling fans would be able to play and see "the longest-reigning WWE champion of the modern era" in action. He said he "has no desire to work with WWE ever again in his life."

Brooks told Cobana that he had to employ a "vicious" lawyer to reach a settlement where WWE agreed to release his undisclosed amount of royalty payments.

While CM Punk was given a big stash of money, fellow WWE superstar Mick Foley opted not to be in "WWE 2K15" due to low payoff for the past two WWE video games.

"[D]espite strong sales, I have found the payoffs for the past two video games to be extremely weak -- in the 25-percent range of what most talent was expecting," Foley posted on his Facebook account, as quoted by Justpushstart.com.

The Washington Post also reported that WWE had neglected his real-life health problems that he even had to be booked on fights eventhough he had not yet received a clearance from his doctor.

"WWE doesn't do anything to protect the wrestlers, they do things to protect themselves. ... They don't let everybody know that they're doing all these fantastic things for concussions for [the professional wrestlers]," Brooks said.

CM Punk also slammed WWE's health and wellness policy when the company gave him bad antibiotics which resulted to a cyst at his back to become a life-threatening staph infection, the Washington Post said.

WWE had responded in a Yahoo! Sports article by saying that it has a "comprehensive talent wellness program... led by one of the most well-respected physicians in the country, Dr. Joesph Maroon."

"WWE 2K15" was released in late October for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and on Nov. 18 and Nov. 21 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in North America and Europe respectively.
