Scotland and Norway will face off in an international friendly on Tuesday.

Both sides have failed to qualify for the World Cup and are simply looking to make preparations for the 2016 Euro qualifiers in a few years.

Norway has had a rather uneventful 2013 with only two victories in its last eight matches. In June, the team drew 1-1 with Albania before taking down Macedonia FYR 2-0. A 4-2 loss against Sweden ensued before the team defeated Cyprus 2-0 in qualifiers. However, losses to Switzerland (2-0) and Slovenia (3-0) essentially eliminated the team. Norway then drew 1-1 with Iceland in the deciding match. The team then lost 2-1 against Denmark in an international friendly this past Friday.

Scotland has been slightly better with four wins in its last eight matches. The team took down Estonia in a friendly in February before losing 2-1 against Wales in a qualifier. The team then lost 2-0 against Serbia before managing a shocking 1-0 win over Croatia in the qualifiers on the road. The team lost 3-2 against England in a friendly in August (but did land goalie Joe Hart a serious blow to his confidence) and also lost 2-0 against Belgium in an ensuing qualifier. Wins over Macedonia and Croatia have boosted the team's morale as well. Scotland's latest game was a 0-0 draw with United States.

Prediction: Scotland and Norway are two sides looking to make strides before the next cycle. Look for a hard-fought 2-2 draw in this one.

Start Time: Kickoff starts at 2 p.m. EST
