Belgium will take on Japan on Tuesday.

Belgium qualified for the World Cup after dominating Group A of the UEFA qualifiers, but the team is coming off a tough 2-0 loss against Colombia at home. Despite dominating most of the first half, the team hit two posts and disorganized defensively in the second half. The opening goal saw three defensemen converge on a single Colombian player; the ball was slipped to Radamel Falcao, the most dangerous man on the pitch, and the Colombia scored with minor difficulty on the breakaway. The second goal was the result of poor coverage on a set piece.

Japan also qualified for the World Cup and struggled shortly after in international friendlies. However, the team is coming off an impressive draw against the Netherlands.

"I wanted to play new players and wanted to see how much we could do as a team," said Japan Manager Alberto Zaccheroni, according to Soccer Way. "The new players did well, and we played well both in defence and offence

"I put more focus on how we would play them rather than the result, and our players played to my satisfaction," he added. "Our play on the sides functioned well and we had good counter-attacks. We created many chances on counters."

Prediction: Belgium will play better than it did against Colombia and manage a 1-1 draw against Japan.

Start Time: Kickoff starts at 3 p.m. EST
