On Saturday night, American boxer Chris Algieri will face one of the biggest names in boxing history at the Venetian's Cotai Arena in Macau. Algieri is set to prove that he can outclass seasoned fighter Manny Pacquiao.

According to the International Business Times (IBT), Pacquiao has chosen to fight in Macau again, a smart choice, according to Bob Arum, since they would not be paying huge amount of taxes mandated by the U.S. government. It was also the venue where the Filipino fighter won against Brandon Rios in November last year.

"By fighting in Macau, Manny is not subject to United States income tax. Most of that would be at 39.6 percent. We are talking millions of dollars he can save," the Top Rank CEO was quoted by IBT as saying.

This also became a big factor and consideration for Pacquiao as he is already facing legal troubles in the Philippines for allegedly not paying the correct taxes from his million dollar earnings in his previous fights.

A  Los Angeles Times report earlier stated that the money to be taken home by the Filipino fighter is about thrice the amount he purses from his fights in Las Vegas Nevada. Algieri, who has never fought outside of his home country, is reportedly making about $1.5 million.

Though Pacquiao and his team are focused on making a knockout happen, Algieri told the New York Times that he will be "Using my timing and rhythm to offset his speed and experience is really the key. I go in with the conviction that I am going to win this." He added, "I'm going to beat Manny Pacquiao, no disrespect to him or anyone else. That's just how I feel."

He also noted that his whole family, except his mother, who has never witnessed her son's matches, will be watching his fight in Macau.

Every boxing fan should watch out for this exciting matchup, which according to Mirror, will start at 2 a.m. but will still feature three undercard fights before the main event. It can be watched exclusively on Box Nation.

If ever Pacquiao wins this fight, chances are he may eventually get his megafight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. next year as Arum has been repeatedly stressing. But if things will not turn on his favor, he may never get the opportunity to have a face-off will the undefeated American fighter. Algieri's name will be marked in history as the rising fighter who beat Pacquiao.
