As the show is nearing its midseason finale, viewers will see their favorite character on the hit zombie drama "The Walking Dead" being put to the test. Sneak peeks of the upcoming episode feature Rick and the rest of his group in the church.

"Crossed" will also revolve around Beth and the decisions she has to make while being held at the Grady Memorial Hospital. Abraham and Dawn's group will also have some screen time in the episode.

In "Consumed," Carol was taken to the Grady Memorial Hospital after being hit by a car. It was known that the hospital is where Beth is being held, and it's highly likely that Daryl and Noah will save her and Carol from the clutches of Dawn, the leader of Grady Memorial.

The official synopsis of "Crossed" released by AMC reads: "The group is spread thin with some members holding down the church and the others on a rescue mission." Clearly, Daryl, Carol, Noah, and Beth are the ones involved in the rescue mission. Based on the trailer, Rick's son Carl, Father Gabriel, and Michonne will be involved in the action-packed scenes in the church.

In another sneak peak, Beth overhears a police officer talking to Dawn that the new patient (Carol) has low chances of surviving. He asks Dawn if they should waste their dwindling resources on someone like Carol, who they don't know and is not a part of their group. This angers Beth, who argued that, "What good is this place if it doesn't try to save people?" Dawn loses her temper on Beth. She says she is ready to pull the plug on Carol, and blames the entire situation on Beth's attitude, International Business Times noted.

Movie Pilot speculated that St. Sarah's Church is going to be under attack and that "the church group will be divided even further." A small group may stay behind to protect the church while another group will head to the hospital to rescue Carol and Beth. Again, these are only speculations.

Fans are on edge about whether the protagonists would have to vacate St. Sarah's Church if it gets overrun by walkers. Movie Pilot noted that this is possible. In the previous seasons, Hershel's farm (the place where the group stayed) was claimed by a large herd of walkers. The same thing happened to the prison in the previous season of the show.
