The trailer of the big-screen debut of "Peanuts" featuring Snoopy, Charlie Brown, and the rest of the gang is finally here.

The two-minute sneak peak was released 10 days earlier by distributors 20th Century Fox and Blue Sky Animation, Daily Mail reported. The trailer features the famous "Peanuts" characters, most notably the beloved beagle Snoopy, Woodstock, Charlie Brown, Linus, Lucy, and a whole lot more. Fans might notice some changes in the movie, though; the animated film seems to have used CG-animation and 3D, judging by the trailer.

Despite the changes, the movie "still retails the original comic strip's charm and distinctive style," The Verge added.

The trailer doesn't reveal much of the plot. It starts with Snoopy sleeping atop his red dog house as Woodstock and his friends decorate for Christmas. The activity awakens Snoopy, and suddenly he becomes the World War I Flying Ace soaring through Paris. As the Red Baron - his nemesis - chases him around the Eiffel Tower, the beagle falls down and out of his daydream. The scene then changes to a shot of a crowded movie theater full of "Peanuts" characters, including Charlie Brown having trouble with a bag of popcorn, Daily Mail noted.

Daily Mail added that this is the first time that the original "Peanuts" comic strip characters will have a feature film. The previous adaptations -- including "A Charlie Brown Christmas (1965)" and "It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown (1966)" -- aired as television specials during holidays.

American cartoonist Charles M. Schulz is behind the well-known comic strip "Peanuts." Named as one of the most successful comic strips, it started its run on October 2, 1950, and was kept in newspapers until Schulz died in 2000, the Daily Mail wrote. His son and grandson -- Craig and Bryan Schulz - co-wrote the script for the animated film with Cornelius Uliano. Their goal was to give honor to the late cartoonist's original work.

Only the late animator Bill Melendez, the director of "A Charlie Brown Christmas," was named as one of the voice actors of the movie. "Peanuts" even licensed old voice recordings of Melendez in order to keep Snoopy sounding the same, Daily Mail added.

"Peanuts" is slated for release in theaters on November 6, 2015. According to Daily Mail, the premiere "has been timed partially to coincide with the 65th anniversary of the comic strip and the 50th anniversary of the Christmas special."
