It’s been called the greatest television show of the decade. He’s been dubbed the greatest character of all time. When it ended, fans were heartbroken. Not only had their favorite show come to an end, but many were unsatisfied with the finale. It’s difficult, nearly impossible to appease everyone, especially with so much at stake. The twists and turns, the character developments, the tragedy and insanity, how could it all end properly? The writers did the best they could to shut down the twisted story, and they did phenomenal work, but not everyone walked away with a smile.

But for discouraged fans, not all is lost. There are plenty of ways “Breaking Bad” could have ended. You’ve probably been running them through your head ever since. Bryan Cranston, who played Walter White, admitted that his favorite alternate is the one where he “goes into the witness protection program and that’s the start of ‘Malcolm in the Middle.’” Whether that’s what you had in mind or not, you can now feast your eyes on what an alternate ending would have looked like.
