The Parents Television Council slammed last Tuesday's episode of the hit FX series "Sons of Anarchy" Season 7 after it featured graphic sex scenes.

Aside from the sexually explicit content, the episode also showed a great deal of Charlie Hunnam's behind, according to Entertainment Weekly.

The president of the council, Tim Winter, released an official statement to show their reaction on the racy scene that featured the couples getting into a variety of sexual acts.

"Last week's episode of Sons of Anarchy opened with the most sexually explicit content we've ever seen on basic cable, content normally found on premium subscription networks like HBO or Showtime ... If FX wants to be like HBO and air this kind of explicit content, then they should become a premium network ... Families should not be forced to underwrite pornography. Cable Choice is a solution whose time has come, and there could hardly be a better example of it than this," Winter stated.

Last year, the organization also questioned a sequence of the show that featured a school shooting.

With this, the creator of "Sons of Anarchy," Kurt Sutter, responded by saying the PTC group is not composed of evil people "but they're just not very intelligent or intuitive people."

However, Entertainment Weekly added that this time around, Sutter has not released any comment, while FX has also remained mum. It can be noted that the action packed drama series is aired around 10 p.m. with an advisory warning, TV-MA, shown before the show starts and during commercial breaks.

On the other hand, the PTC president shared with The Hollywood Reporter how families should start properly selecting which cable networks to pay for with a la carte programming.

In his official statement via the Parents Television Council website, Winter continue to seek help and support from authorities to grant consumers better choices in cable network selections.

"We call on Congress, the FCC and the Federal Courts to give cable consumers real choice when it comes to deciding which networks they actually want to purchase," he concluded.

"Sons of Anarchy" is a U.S. crime drama series that stars Charlie Hunnam as Jax Teller and his loyalty with his motorcycle club. It also stars Katey Sagal, Kim Coats, Theo Rossie and a lot more.
