The much-awaited trailer for the fourth installment of the "Jurassic Park" movie franchise will arrive on Thanksgiving.

According to SlashFilm, the official website of the film titled "Jurassic World" was also launched, and with it comes a countdown clock for the sneak peak that will end on Thanksgiving (November 27). That's only less than three weeks of waiting.

Aside from the trailer of "Jurassic World," Groovebricks also revealed leaked LEGO sets, apparently based on the infamous D-Rex, the hybrid and vicious dinosaur specimen that will be featured in the upcoming movie.

Some of the physical characteristics of the D-Rex described by "Jurassic World" director Colin Trevorrow are present in the LEGO models, SlashFilm noted. The new creature also has a distinctive quality that separates it from the other dinosaur species.

"Yes, there will be one new dinosaur created by the park's geneticists. The gaps in her sequence were filled with DNA from other species, much like the genome in the first film was completed with frog DNA. This creation exists to fulfill a corporate mandate-they want something bigger, louder, with more teeth," Trevorrow stated, as quoted by SlashFilm in another report.

Fans might be anxious over what a mutated dinosaur would look like, but Trevorrow was quick to placate their worry by saying that the production team didn't do anything that would go against what the late Michael Crichton described in his novels. Crichton was the author of the sci-fi novels of the same name which the "Jurassic Park" movies are based on.

"This animal is not a mutant freak. It doesn't have a snake's head or octopus tentacles. It's a dinosaur, created in the same way the others were, but now the genetics have gone to the next level," Trevorrow told SlashFilm.

According to Air Herald, the plot of the fourth film will center around the theme park, Jurassic World, situated on the original Isla Nublar. The dinosaurs, which have been brought back from the prehistoric era through cloning process, are now tamed and are attracting millions of visitors worldwide.

However, fast declining tickets of the attraction prompted park owners to splice the dinosaur DNA to create a new hybrid called "Diabolous Rex" or D-Rex. Things started going sour when the mutated dinosaur escapes from captivity, Air Herald noted.

"Jurassic World" will premiere in theaters on June 12, 2015, Movie Web reported. It will star "Guardians of the Galaxy" actor Chris Pratt, Ty Simpkins, Bryce Dallas Howard, Nick Robinson, Vincent D'Onofrio, Irrfan Khan, B.D. Wong, and Omar Sy.

Fans would have to wait until Thanksgiving to get a glimpse of the D-Rex, but in the meantime, relive the thrill of the third "Jurassic Park" film by watching the trailer below.
