Kim Kardashian's bare butt photo on the cover of Paper Magazine has gathered the interest of the sports world, not just because it features Kim's behind but also because it has given birth to hilarious sport memes and parodies that are circulating online.

The top parody of course involves Philadephia Eagles quarterback Mark Sanchez who has dealt with the butt fumble once in his NFL career. The New York Daily News said that this meme has "brought him back down to his lowest point." The photo version shows Kardashian's butt entirely blocking the face of Sanchez.

When Sanchez was still with the New York Jets in 2012, his infamous butt-fumble with New England Patriots' Brandon Moore became a trending topic. "I guess (I was) more stunned than anything. Just like a car accident. I was like, 'Whoa. What just happened?' Then, the ball's gone. It was weird. It's embarrassing," Sanchez said in an NFL.com article.
Another famous version of Kardashian's nude photo is the one where her butt is attached to the chins of England manager Roy Hodgson and New York Mets pitcher Bartolo Colon. Another meme posted on social media is a photo of Panthers goalie Roberto Luongo who appeared to be in Kardashian's body. Team mascots Fresno Grizzlies' Parker and Lake Elsinore's Storm were also not spared.
According to the NY Mag, the "ass-tastic" cover of Kim has promised to break the Internet with its sensational appeal to the public but it did not really become the case. Instead of being talked about for its being sexy and daring, the photo became the butt of a joke.
"The internet appears to still be functioning and has churned out more memes than ounces of baby oil it took to shine up that tush," NY mag noted.
New York Daily News agreed, saying that the photo did become viral but in its own funny way, making more people interested in exploring possibilities on how they can experiment with the image of Kim's behind.
On a more serious note, Hollywood Life noted that the photo shoot is now facing controversy because of "the racial tension implicit in photographer Jean-Paul Goude's direction in Kim's spread versus the similar photos he took in 1976′s 'Carolina Beaumont.'"
