Rumors about Bruce Jenner's journey to womanhood did not escape from the Internet's clutches.

The 65-year-old former Olympian has been spotted of late sporting hot pink nails, sleek long hair, hairless legs, and was even wearing Spanx like her step-daughters, Daily Mail reports. Bruce's changing physical appearance causes people to talk about what's really going on with him.

According to Daily Mail, Bruce was previously reported to be "seeking gender reassignment treatment with a preference to be named 'Brigitte,' and now a new report claims his 'goal is to live as a woman and look as much like one'." An insider also revealed that Bruce has long been struggling with his feelings about being a woman inside, Daily Mail noted.

Inquisitr added that Bruce also had an operation called laryngeal shave, a procedure that flattens a man's Adam's apple and is considered as one of the first steps towards sex change.

"I just never liked my trachea," the TV personality said, as quoted by Inquisitr.

However, an insider revealed that Bruce is not seeking a full gender reassignment surgery, but is only "taking the female hormone estrogen to further feminize his appearance," according to a report from Radar Online.

Some people comment that the reason behind his changing appearance is because he is "trying to recapture his youth with various cosmetic adjustments," Daily Mail reports. A source close to the family says that the "media coverage of his appearance 'crushes him' but that he plans on unveiling his gender identification in a format of his choosing," preferably in an in-depth interview.

What the Family Has to Say

Apparently, Bruce's children and stepchildren are all trying to respect his decision, Daily Mail further reports. Kendall and Kylie Jenner, his daughters, "are so in love with their dad that whatever he is doing is fine with them." Khloe Kardashian, his stepdaughter, is sympathetic in his plight.

In an exclusive interview with Daily Mail, Bruce's mother Esther Jenner admitted that she doesn't approve of her son's new effeminate look.

"I love him, no matter what," she said when asked Bruce's changing appearance. "I've brought this up to him on the phone when we've talked and he says, 'Mom, you can't believe this stuff.' And I said, 'Well, I want to tell you one thing, Bruce...[if] it's true or false, it's not going to change my love for you,' and it's true, that's exactly how I feel, but I don't like it," she admitted, Daily Mail reports.

"I hate his hair [too], I tell him it's ugly. That it's ridiculous. I told him on the phone the other day, 'You know Bruce, you just turned 65 and you're wearing your hair like you're a teenage rebel' and he laughed, just cracked up. He doesn't pay any attention to me. He's always been single-minded and independent," Esther, 88, revealed, as quoted by Daily Mail.
