Justin Bieber and Cody Simpson have released a new acoustic tune.

Bieber, 20, and Australian pop singer Simpson, 17, just made girls' hearts melt with their first song together titled "Home to Mama," Hollywood Life reports. The emotional song is all about taking "the one" home to meet their mothers. Listen to the sweet ballad below.

In June this year, Simpson revealed to ET Online that he will be collaborating on a duet together with Bieber. Simpson also tweeted about the big news, saying, "chill studio session last night with @justinbieber. wrote a beautiful guitar track. able to relate when it comes to love & women. good sht!"

"We're both heading in different directions as we grow up and we wrote a beautiful song It's definitely gonna lead to more stuff... he's becoming a cool musical mate of mine," Simpson told ET Online.

Finally, on Tuesday afternoon, the Australian crooner released the single on his Fahlo account, an interactive app "that plays home to his and Bieber's official fan clubs," according to a report from ET Online. However, Fahlo crashed because of the huge influx of traffic brought by Simpson tweeting the link for the new song. Bieber also released the track on his own Fahlo account.

Simpson also posted the "Home to Mama" album artwork on Twitter, captioning it, "Aye @justinbieber you wanna give them a little something later today?"

Fans have been wondering about the inspiration behind the duo's new music. According to Hollywood Life, "Home to Mama" might be about the two's famous love interests - singer/actress Selena Gomez and fashion model Gigi Hadid.

During the Teen Choice Awards in August, "On Air with Ryan Seacrest" asked Simpson about the collaboration. "We've been doing a bunch of music over the past month or two. He just called me up and said, 'Hey man, I've been seeing your Instagram videos of you playing guitar.' ... I was just stoked. He said, 'Let's get in the studio.' We got in that night and we ended up writing 10 or 12 songs, I was playing guitar. You'll be hearing stuff in about two months," Simpson explained, as quoted by RyanSeacrest.com.

No official news has been announced yet for Simpson and Bieber's duet album. But on Monday, the latter posted a photo of himself on Instagram appearing to be writing more songs. The singer captioned the photo "The old is gone the new is here" #workinprogress."
