Motorola and Google's latest Android 5.0 Lollipop-shipping smartphone, Nexus 6, will be available to a number of mobile carriers Wednesday and beyond, wrote International Business Times.
The device can be bought directly from Motorola and Google Play Store but there seems to be a shortage in supply. Google has addressed this issue as it announced that Nexus 6 restocks every Wednesday, IBT added.
In a report by The Verge, AT&T will open its online and on-site stores for preorders beginning Nov. 12. The Midnight Blue model retails for $249.99 under a two-year commitment; it sells for $682.99 without contract.
Under AT&T's Next plans, the device may be owned at $22.77 per month for 24 months, $28.46 per month for 18 months or $34.15 per month for 12 months.
T-Mobile moves the launch of Nexus 6 on Nov. 19 due to "limited inventory and in-store demo units available at this time." The carrier noted as consolation that prospects can still pre-register here for updates.
Under T-Mobile's Equipment Installment Plan, the new Android flagship may be owned at $0 downpayment for a two-year contract, due $27.08 a month.
The Nexus 6 will be available on Sprint Stores, Sprint Business Sales, Web Sales and Telesales at 1-800-SPRINT1 on Nov. 14. The network carrier informed that the device may be purchased for $0 downpayment (plus tax) with $29 a month for 24 months -- that amounts to $696 off-contract.
Sprint also announced that the device comes with its Family Share Pack plan, where a family with 10 lines gets 20GB of shared data and unlimited talks / texts for $100 a month through 2015.
Meanwhile, Verizon has not revealed its plans for Nexus 6 yet, said Engadget. It appears then that the device will be offered later by the carrier.
IBT noted that U.S. Cellular advised its customers to expect the device this month.
Motorola's Nexus 6 is packed with a 5.96-inch AMOLED display, 1440 x 2560 resolution at 493 ppi and Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Imaging features include a 13 MP rear camera supported by Optical Image Stabilization, HDR+, Panorama, PhotoSphere and Lens Blur. In addition, the device comes with a 2 MP front snapper.
Videography features sport 1080p HD and 2160p Ultra HD displays at 30fps.
Powered by the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop, the Nexus 6 is offered in 32 GB and 64 GB storage options. It is also equipped with 2.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, with quad-core CPU and Adreno 420 GPU. It has 3 GB of RAM and runs under 3220 mAh battery, supported by Qi Wireless charging.
Nexus 6 is also water-resistant, with dual front-facing stereo speakers.
Finally, the device comes in two colors: Midnight Blue and Cloud White.
Motorola offers it newest device starting at $649.99.
